Know our company

Cover System S.L was established in 1985 to carry out the development of its main activity. That is, the plastic coating as an alternative to conventional finishes. We pursue our goal, to offer solutions to the problems derived from metal corrosion.

We have a large capacity to process small and large parts. At the same time, our flexibility to process large series or unique pieces make us undisputed leaders in the sector, both at a national level and of the first order at a European level.

Currently, we have two industrial production plants; an industrial warehouse located 8 kilometers from San Sebastián, and another plant in the city of Barcelona.

Juan Mari Lacoste establishes Cover Systems S.L in Hernani, Basque Country. Company dedicated to offering solutions to metal corrosion problems.
1990

COVER strengthens its relationship with Plascoat Systems Ltd., pioneers in coating technology. We start working with newer products, allowing us to stand out from the competition due to the high quality offered.
1995

Thanks to the national recognition, Cover becomes an official distributor of Plascoat Systems Ltd. for Spain and Portugal. Shortly after, it began its internationalization process towards France and Holland.
2001

Expansion of the Hernani warehouse to meet the needs due to the large increase in demand.
2009

As the years go by, Cover includes new products and achieves great recognition. In 2009, the society bought one of its main competitors located in Barcelona, ​​thus creating the new company Cover Aplicaciones Técnicas S.L
2015

Jon Lacoste joins the Cover team to learn about all the operational processes. Both at the workshop level, through all production positions and at the company management level and thus be able to successfully assume the generational change.
2020

An investment is made to modernize the Hernani plant to renovate some of its machinery and facilities. And, in this way, improve the production efficiencies and their ability to process very heavy and large parts.
